Koru Games Reflection

Over the last 3 days I have been competing in a year 7/8 sports tournament called The Koru Games. I participated in the Oaklands Girls Basketball team at Lincoln University. I really enjoyed playing the small games I did because it was a challenge for me because of my shortness and the other teams tallness. Thinking back to the beginning of the year, when we only first started training for it, I have improved greatly. Before, I barely knew the rules, let alone how to play. I have definitely improved at my intercepting, marking and lay ups. I found the Koru Games a very helpful and fun tournament, and me being not a sporty person, I actually found a sport that I like and am slightly good at.

Long story short, I loved the Koru Games.😀

Writing - spelling

Here is my entry/exit ticket.

My goal was spelling. I got up to extended abstract. Here is a paragraph that I spell checked by reading backwards.

My argument is why Marvel Studios is the best film industry in the world.

Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth. Those are names of several famous actors in Marvel Cinematic Universe movies. Each of those actors play their characters incredibly well. Think about Chris Evans (Captain America/Steve Rogers) who in the past, also was cast as The Human Torch/ Johnny Storm, the cocky arrogant rich guy. And then think about his role as Captain America, the sensible, patriotic superhero whose only hope is in his country. I personally think that you must be pretty talented to switch polar opposite roles. And what about Robert Downey Jr, doesn't he just suit his role perfectly? He doesn't even need to change his personality because he is pretty much exactly like Tony Stark. Although most Marvel movies are awesome, others are a bit unrealistic.
